Review: Burberry Eye Colour Contour in Dusky Mauve No. 116 and Rosewood No. 112 (Photo Swatches)

image

Morning Everyone! It is nice and lovely in the UK and not too cold! Although, a little bit of snow will be nice 😉 Today, I have a quick review post for you.
Few days ago, the UPS man has delivered these babies to my doorstep. I’ve been trying and testing them on myself, and to find out how they perform? Read on! 🙂

Burberry has launched a collection of 7 shades for these Eye Colour Contour range. I have absolutely no idea why these are called eye colour contour? It would be more fitting to be called eyeshadow sticks? It could be too common and not fancy enough 😛

Performance:
These Eye contour pens lasted a good 6 hours without primer with minor fading, which I’m very impressed with. They do set well but not as quickly as Kiko shadow sticks. It is smudgeproof!
These two chosen colours can be blended well together. To remove, please use proper eye makeup remover! I’ve used a Nivea makeup wipe the first time round, I had to kinda rub it off with slight force 😦
I switched to use my trusty Chanel Gentle Biphase eye makeup remover and I have no problem ever since.

image

Pigmentation:
It gives a light wash of colour with 1 swipe. It could be too light a wash for some makeup users.

image

Swatches are done with at least 3 swipes!

Summary:
Happy with these, I now wished I didn’t buy the Eye Colour Cream (reviewed here). Those are great colours but I love the format of these shadow sticks! I find them alot easier to use and to carry around with you.

Price: £23 for 1.5g, Burberry online
Made in Italy

While we are on the topic of eye makeup… Have you heard about this eyeshadow palette by Too Faced? It is called the “Peanut Butter and Jelly palette”. It looks and sounds so interesting, as with recent palettes from Too Faced. This palette is made to smell yummy! I cannot wait for its launch at the end of Feb! Woohoo!

Thank you for reading and have a lovely day!

September favourites 2015 @iamcherrylemon

September favourites 2015 @iamcherrylemon

Hi there! I believe this is my first ever monthly favourite blog post! I don’t normally switch around too much with my products, but with so many bits and bobs sitting on my vanity I feel like I must make an effort!
These are the most used products in the month of September for me 🙂

Etude House Drawing Eye Brow definer
I’ve reviewed this brow definer before, but I recently found it again behind my chest of drawer! So it is back in my life with a bang, I’ve been using this throughout the whole month of September. Previous review post here.
Under $6 from Amazon

Urban Decay Revolution lipstick in Catfight
Cat fight is a pink fuchsia with red tone, it is a cream sheen finish. Not the usual colour I normally go for but it somehow attracts alot of compliments 😉
It’s bright and is eye catching! I feel great whenever I’m wearing it. It could be my new “Red” during this summer turn Autumn season!
£15.50 from Urban Decay (and any major department store)

September favourites 2015 (swatches) L to R: Urban Decay Revolution Lipstick, Bourjois Pinceau Eyeliner and Etude House Drawing brow definer @iamcherrylemon

September favourites 2015 (swatches) L to R: Urban Decay Revolution Lipstick, Bourjois Pinceau Eyeliner and Etude House Drawing brow definer @iamcherrylemon

Bourjois Liner Pinceau Eyeliner
This is one of my favourite liquid eyeliner ever! I shall write up a more in depth review on this.
This liner is a super fine brush which gives so much control. You can create a superfine cat liner or a 70s retro wing liner with ease.
Under £7 from Amazon (any major drugstore that stocks Bourjois! I.e. Boots)

CND Solar Oil nail & cuticle conditioner
My nails are going through a fragile state at the moment. Hence the lack of NOTD posts for a month! I’m currently nursing them back to normal health using this Solar Oil conditioner. It smells sweetly of almonds!
So far it is working well, the cuticles are looking better. This is not a nail growth promoter, so my nails are taking their time to grow! Fingers crossed, I’ll be back with better looking nails for future manicure posts.
£6.95 from Amazon UK

Clinique Take The Day Off Makeup Remover For Lids, Lashes & Lips
I received the deluxe sample of this from British Beauty Blogger collaboration box with Clinque. See review of this product here.
I’ve been using this non-stop this month and had to stop to save enough for my review post! It does the job and it does it well! Big thumbs up!

£17 for 125ml from Clinque or any major department store

Funny one this is! I don’t have dandruff but my scalp does get sensitive to certain shampoo, this means I will see dandruff looking bits once in a blue moon.
Body Shop Ginger Shampoo smells like ginger, yes it does. I definitely not seen any unattractive flakes since I’ve started using it 3 or 4 months ago. It is also gentle enough not to irritate my scalp. So I’m going to stick with this one for awhile!

£4.50 for 200ml from the Body Shop

Music/Singles: Katie Melua – Wonderful Life
I liked listening to calming music, and Melua is certainly one of the artists that I keep going back to 🙂
Katie Melua’s re-recording of Wonderful Life is currently available for download and on sale, with profit going to children’s charities. What a thoughtful and great way to raise awareness to these children’s charities. MTV on YouTube

Review: Clinique Liquid Facial Soap and Take The Day Off Makeup Remover For Lids, Lashes & Lips

Clinique Liquid Facial Soap and Take The Day Off Makeup Remover For Lids, Lashes & Lips @iamcherrylemon

Clinique Liquid Facial Soap and Take The Day Off Makeup Remover For Lids, Lashes & Lips @iamcherrylemon

Good day!
This post has been long overdue! I’ve been using these two products and had the urge to review them as soon as I’ve almost finished them!
Clinique is not a brand I’ve been using frequently. I used to be a big fan when I was a teenager! As the products are slightly more affordable compared to other high end brands! I loved their Quickliner for Eyes in Smoky Brown! Anything from lipsticks, facial soap blocks, anti blemish products to “Super balanced” foundation! Forgot how I fell out of love with Clinique.
Anyhow, here’s my thoughts on the liquid facial soap and eye makeup remover!

Liquid Facial Soap Mild formula for dry combination skin
This version has been designed for people with combination skin. It is 100% fragrance free and non drying. It feels very gentle on the skin and it does not strip natural oil from the skin itself. But it still manages to cleanse well and not leaving the skin feels tight.
This is step one Clinque’s famous 3 steps skincare system. “Cleanse. Exfoliate. Moisturise.”
I used it after my cleansing balm so it doesn’t have to tackle my long wearing foundation! It is used purely as a second cleanse 🙂 It removes every last trace of makeup from my face.

This standard bottle of liquid soap comes in a dispenser bottle. You can also find the facial soap bar if you prefer soap blocks to liquid soap. I do reckon the soap blocks last longer compared to liquid soap!

£16.50 for 200ml
Summary: A good gentle facial cleanser that’s suitable for sensitive skin users. Non drying and fragrance free.

Take The Day Off Makeup Remover For Lids, Lashes & Lips
This is a biphase eye makeup remover. It doesn’t feel greasy on the lids at all. This eye makeup remover is very gentle on the eyes, it is also suitable for contact lense wearers.
It removes my waterproof mascara very well and rest of the eye makeup. I really enjoyed using this product.
It is slightly cheaper (£5!) to use comparing to my holy grail product “Chanel Gentle Bi- phase Eye Make-Up Remover”.

£17 for 125ml
Summary: Gentle yet effective eye makeup remover, great for sensitive eyes

Burberry Eye Colour Cream Shadows in No.100 Gold Copper and No.102 Mink, Photo Swatches and Review #BurberryBeauty

Burberry Eye Colour Cream in Gold Copper and Mink @iamcherrylemon

Burberry Eye Colour Cream in Gold Copper and Mink @iamcherrylemon

Morning there, how are you? Retail therapy strikes again (at me obviously!). I was browsing the internet last week and realised Burberry has launched a new line of cream eye products, call the Eye Colour Cream! There are 8 colour variations available. The colours look great on the webpage but it was not easy to pick the colours! So I picked Gold Copper and Mink, thinking these might be easier to use for the summer months and great for everyday use.

These glass jars might look familiar, I have got the Cheek Lip Bloom which also come in a glass jar (reviewed here)! These things are looking cuter by the minute. Ok, ready for a quick review?

I received these pots with next day delivery last week, and have been using them for a week 🙂

Burberry Eye Colour Cream in Gold Copper and Mink @iamcherrylemon

Burberry Eye Colour Cream in Gold Copper and Mink @iamcherrylemon

Official DescriptionA creamy, blendable eye shadow that delivers an effortless wash of luminising colour. The cushion-soft, lightweight cream eye shadow glides across the skin to deliver illuminating colour that can be easily blended to create a bespoke finish. The long-lasting, crease-free formula can be worn alone to add tone, depth and shadow or combined for a more dramatic result. Using the unique, flat-angled brush, it can also be applied as an eyeliner along the upper or lower lash line.

Burberry Eye Colour Cream in Gold Copper and Mink @iamcherrylemon

Packaging: These glass jars are great to look at and stackable. They won’t look out of place on your pretty vanity. For me, I do prefer travel friendly packaging. These are pretty weighty. Each cream shadow pot comes with a retractable angled brush. I can imagine myself losing these brushes already…. They are small!

Burberry Eye Colour Cream in Gold Copper and Mink wiuth Brush @iamcherrylemon

Burberry Eye Colour Cream in Gold Copper and Mink wiuth Brush @iamcherrylemon

Product/formulation: The formula is not like your average cream eye shadow, this has no oily feel to it at all. It is almost dry and velvety to touch. Yet it spreads and blends easily on the eyelids without dragging. I prefer to use my fingers to apply and blend the shadows. The brush is better used for apply these colours as liner.

The 2 colours I have are both *luminous*, basically not matte!

Burberry Beauty Eye Colour Cream in No.100 Gold Copper @iamcherrylemon

Burberry Eye Colour Cream in No.102 Mink @iamcherrylemon

Burberry Eye Colour Cream in No.102 Mink @iamcherrylemon

Colour/Pigmentation: The colour is not super intense but you can build on it pretty quickly. For the photo swatches, I have used 2 swipes of each colour and photos were taken in natural indirect sunlight. I wished we had brighter sunlight today for better swatches. I might redo these in the near future.

The Gold Copper has a more noticeable sheen to it than Mink. These 2 colour work well together.

Burberry Eye Colour Cream in No.100 Gold Copper and No.102 Mink Photo Swatch @iamcherrylemon

Burberry Eye Colour Cream in No.100 Gold Copper and No.102 Mink Photo Swatch @iamcherrylemon

Longevity: I did not expect the cream shadow to last as long as it did without eyelid primer on my super oily lids! I got around 6 to 7 hours wear out of these, By the end of the day, it started to fade at the outer corner area. All in all, I am happy and impressed with its performance.

Overall Summary: I am in love with the colours! I would like to get my hands on Dusty Pink and Dusty Mauve next! Although, these are pretty pricy at £25 a pot! 4 out of 5 from me!

It would be fantastic if Burberry woud release colour coordinated palettes with these shadow formula. Hint hint! 😉

I love my highlighting products, I’ve tried this and really enjoyed using it! A quick swipe will give a very lovely sheen on my cheekbones, and it has the signature Burberry Beauty scent. My friend gave me her backup :~D as she knows how much I loved this product from the last Summer Splash collection!! Muah muah!! (This is out of stock but for more details, please follow this link)

We did wandered to Urban Decay beauty store after our coffees but it was so busy! Fleur de Force was having a book signing at the store, there was apparently exclusive 20% discount on products. I now wished I queued up too! hahaha

Review: Etude House Drawing Eye Brow (Shades #2 Gray Brown and #4 Charcoal Gray) with Photo Swatches

Etude House Drawing Eye Brow pencils (Shades #2 Gray Brown and #4 Charcoal Gray) @iamcherrylemon

Etude House Drawing Eye Brow pencils (Shades #2 Gray Brown and #4 Charcoal Gray) @iamcherrylemon

Morning everyone. How are you doing? Today, I’m reviewing the Etude House Drawing Eye Brow definers in two shades.

The product
This is the automatic / retractable type Eyebrow Definer with hard wax crayon. It comes in six different shades; #1 Black Brown, #2 Gray Brown, #3 Brown, #4 Charcoal Gray, #5 Gray and #6 Black.

Etude House Official Eye Brow Drawing Colour Chart (image credit www.beautynetkorea.com)

The wax crayon nib is shaped like a triangle and slightly slanted. This has been designed to make the application easy and effortless.

Etude House Drawing Eye Brow @iamcherrylemon

Etude House Drawing Eye Brow @iamcherrylemon

It has a spoolie at the other end, this is extremely helpful for tidying and grooming. I’ve only got my Burberry Eyebrow Definer that has the exact same design as this Etude House version. The Etude House spoolie is not tapered but I’m not complaining at all.
The caps shut securely and I don’t have to worry breaking the nib in my makeup bag.

The wax crayon is refillable. But I haven’t come across any refills online yet.

The hard wax is horrible to swatch on hand but it applies extremely well onto the brows. You can go for a natural brow look, or intensify the look by building up the coverage.

Out of the two shades, I do prefer the shade #2 Gray Brown. It’s warmer and more suitable for my complexion 😀 but both are great.

Ease of use: Great for beginners and everyone!
Pigmentation: Light but build-able, easy to control
Longevity: Very good! 10 hours+ and no touch up required. I’m most impressed.

Price: currently under $4 at Beauty Net Korea (Not affiliated)
Score: 5! A good dupe for the Burberry Effortless Eyebrow Definer at a fraction of the price. A definite repurchase for me!

Thanks for reading! Hope you had a great weekend!

Surprise budget find: Boots Natural Collection liquid eyeliner #BudgetBeauty

Boots Natural Collection Liquid Eye Lines @iamcherrylemon

Boots Natural Collection Liquid Eye Lines @iamcherrylemon

Hi Hi, it’s Saturday! How’s your weekend going? I am in for a nice quiet weekend :o)
I forgot to take my travel makeup bag with me the other day. I only needed some eyeliners as I kinda feel naked without it! I definitely look more awake with some nicely defined eyes.
I’m a regular liquid eyeliner user, I know I have at least 10 liquid eyeliners waiting for me at home. So I ain’t going to splash out on some fancy ones. Hence I’ve picked Boots Natural Collection Liquid Eye Lines in black. It only costs £1.99 for 8ml!!

Boots Natural Collection Liquid Eye Lines (info) @iamcherrylemon

Boots Natural Collection Liquid Eye Lines (info) @iamcherrylemon

Boots Natural Collection Liquid Eye Lines (The Brush applicator) @iamcherrylemon

Boots Natural Collection Liquid Eye Lines (The Brush applicator) @iamcherrylemon

This liquid liner has a short small brush, it can achieve very neat thin lines. It is not entirely opaque with 1 brush stroke. So I lined over the initial brush stroke for a good decent look. A flick was also easy to achieve. I am totally in shock in how much I’m liking this liquid liner.
I sniffed at it, it is fragrance free without any annoying smell. Please note that this is smudgeproof but not waterproof. It comes right off as soon as it comes in contact with water.

Boots Natural Collection Liquid Eye Lines - Photo Swatch (1, 2, 3 brush strokes) @iamcherrylemon

Boots Natural Collection Liquid Eye Lines – Photo Swatch (1, 2, 3 brush strokes) @iamcherrylemon

Pigment: Dries matte black; Good pigmentation
Ease of use: Easier than expected, easy to control but if you normally use the pen type then you’ll need some practice.
Longevity: Good solid 8 hours on my oily eyelids. It disintegrated slightly afterwards but still look good and I didn’t bother to retouch.

Overall Summary: 4 out of 5! A brilliant score for this little liner. It surprised me on its performance. This is a classic budget beauty item that definitely worth every single penny and more!

Have you found any budget beauty items recently?

Thanks for reading and hope you enjoy this short post!

YSL Babydoll Mascara product review

YSL Babydoll Mascara @iamcherrylemon

YSL Babydoll Mascara @iamcherrylemon

Hello there! Happy Friday everyone. I’m reviewing the YSL Babydoll Mascara today.
Very dangerous as this is holy grail mascara for many people!

First impression of the product

YSL Babydoll Mascara @iamcherrylemon

The packaging is gorgeous, sleek gold tube with red writing “Babydoll”. It is probably one of my prettiest mascaras in terms of packaging!

The product
This mascara has the driest formula I’ve ever used. I do prefer dry formula so I’m OK with it.
It has a big flexible rubber bristle brush, the bristles are soft and short. It supposed to give lengths and help with definition. The mascara has a scent to it, not too intrusive nor annoying.

YSL Babydoll Mascara - Brush @iamcherrylemon

YSL Babydoll Mascara – Brush @iamcherrylemon

YSL Babydoll Mascara (Packaging) @iamcherrylemon

YSL Babydoll Mascara (Packaging) @iamcherrylemon

This mascara is smudgeproof but not waterproof. Thanks to its unique formula and how the mascara coats your lashes, you don’t have to worry about getting smudges.

My take on the product
I like this mascara’s long-lasting properties. But it requires proper makeup eye remover for removal. It’s like removing tiny hallow tubes from your lashes!

YSL Babydoll Mascara @iamcherrylemon

YSL Babydoll Mascara @iamcherrylemon

I received a sample of this same mascara after purchasing the full size.
One issue that I do find with the full size, is that it can clump if you load too much mascara on the bristles. The sample doesn’t seem to suffer from this problem. I have to learn to wipe off excess mascara before application every single time.
This would be a great mascara if it holds curls better too.

Pros:
Long lasting formula
Very luxurious item in one’s makeup bag (looks so lovely!)
Average lengthening but good at volumising
Dry formula

Cons:
Expensive
Doesn’t hold curls well
Can clumps if there’s too much mascara build up on the wand (even on first coat)

I’ve curled my lashes before applying 3 coats of mascara in the swatch photo below.

YSL Babydoll Mascara (Before and After photo swatches) @iamcherrylemon

YSL Babydoll Mascara (Before and After photo swatches) @iamcherrylemon

Overall Summary: It is unlikely for me to repurchase this. I can get better results with other mascaras both low and high end brands. This might be a great product but it just doesn’t do anything for my super straight stubby lashes!

Have you tried this YSL Babydoll Mascara before? Did you get better results with yours?

Thank you for reading 😀

Majolica Majorca Lash Gorgeous Wing Neo Mascara – Product Review and Photo Swatches

Majolica Majorca Lash Gorgeous Wing Neo Mascara @iamcherrylemon

Majolica Majorca Lash Gorgeous Wing Neo Mascara @iamcherrylemon

Hello! I’m on a mascara mission, it is to go through my stash before getting another new one 😛
Today I’m reviewing the Lash Gorgeous Wing Neo mascara in the shade BK999 Black.

Official description: Lash Gorgeous Wing Neo: The more you layer, the more fluttery they get! The next evolution in Lash Expander Mascara

I was going to buy the famous Majolica Majorca Lash King but they only had one of those in store, and I promised my friend I’ll get her a Lash King. So I bought the Wing Neo for myself instead. Anyhow, any new toy is better than no new toys to play with!
My usual mascaras are the Burberry Effortless or YSL Babydoll (to be reviewed soon, before I finish it!).
First thing first, I have short straight stubby lashes that almost pointing downward. So I look for lengthening, curling and waterproof properties. I’m not too fussed about volume as I wear wing liners everyday. It comes with a normal bristle brush applicator, and you can see tiny fiber all over the brush!

Majolica Majorca Lash Gorgeous Wing Neo Mascara (Brush Applicator) @iamcherrylemon

Majolica Majorca Lash Gorgeous Wing Neo Mascara (Brush Applicator) @iamcherrylemon

This Wing Neo mascara contains tiny fibers for lash lengthening, the formula is on the dry side so I had to work quick.

I first curled my lashes. To build layers, I continue with second layer immediately after the first layer has been applied. I didn’t go for third layer as the second layer is already giving good lengths that looks really natural. I’m impressed! The mascara didn’t give much volume but the lashes are lengthened, more defined and it held my curls well.

Majolica Majorca Lash Gorgeous Wing Neo Mascara (Photo Swatches, BEFORE and AFTER) @iamcherrylemon

Majolica Majorca Lash Gorgeous Wing Neo Mascara (Photo Swatches, BEFORE and AFTER) @iamcherrylemon

I’ve taken some pictures first thing in the morning then again around 14 hours later. It stayed in with no flaking and no smudging. The lashes are not as curled as this morning’s but I’m not expecting miracles!
When it comes to removing the mascara, it took awhile longer, need to use waterproof makeup remover and slowly soak them with a cotton pad.

Product Summary:

  • Lengthening and defining
  • Not much volume
  • Dry formula
  • No flaking, smudging nor clumping
  • Natural looking lashes
  • Keep curl well
  • Not waterproof
  • Long lasting formula
  • Hard to remove just like other fiber mascaras!

I like this mascara but I probably will try the famous Lash King next! I much prefer their brush liquid liners (review here).

Price: Approx £10 from ebay and much cheaper from Asia!

Fiber mascaras are not everyone’s cup of tea. Do you like using fiber mascaras?

Ariul Spa Water 24Hours Moisturising De-Tox Mask @iamcherrylemon

Ariul Spa Water 24Hours Moisturising De-Tox Mask @iamcherrylemon

A very large bottle of detox mask! I like the packaging with the arty gradient, it makes it look more expensive than it is. The mask itself is pearly white, smells very much like an old-fashioned hand wash. I like the product but I am not too keen on the scent. To use, apply a small amount into your palms and spread this over the face. You only have to wait for few seconds before the mask starts to foam up. The bubbles are there to deep clean your pores, it is a funny feeling on the skin. Let me repeat myself here again, I love self-bubbling skincare products. It’s fun and does a good job cleaning the pores. Once rinsed off, the skin will be left moisturised and soft to touch. I really like what it does to my skin! Big thumbs up! I score this 9 out of 10!

2. AHC Hologram Collection Whitening Serum 50ml, RRP $89

AHC Hologram Collection Whitening Serum @iamcherrylemon

Without stating the obvious, this serum looks absolutely fantastic! I know it is a bit gimmicky, but as long as the product delivers, I guess it doesn’t really matter?
This whitening serum contains a blend of acerola berry, camu camu berry, hyaluronic acid, kiwi and tomato. It helps to brightens the complexion while delivering moisture to the skin.

3. LadyKin Broccoli Super Brightening Cream 60ml, RRP $14

LadyKin Broccoli Super Brightening Cream @iamcherrylemon

Right, this is a funny ingredient, 75% Broccoli extract! I have never seen anything non-edible containing Broccoli at all. Apparently, it is believed that broccoli has antioxidant effects on the skin. This cream also has high level of vitamin C and E, these are known to brightens and repairs the skin.
This cream can be used on face and body.

4. Boscians Cycle Repair Whitening Spot 15ml, RRP $24
This is a point treatment to lighten dark spots on the skin and helps with hyperpigmentation, a well as hydrating the skin. This is my second tube of the same product, I have been advised this can be a great eye cream too.

5. Withme White Perfection Hydrating Cream 120ml, RRP $43

WITHME White Perfection Hydrating Cream @iamcherrylemon

WITHME White Perfection Hydrating Cream @iamcherrylemon

“This White Perfection Hydrating Cream contains over 24,000 mg of silk concentrates and ocean complex. The silk formula rich in protein and amino acid effectively detoxifies the skin of melanin pigments while the blend of sea minerals and coral reef extracts deeply relieve and replenish dry, exhausted skin.”
The info card states that there’s 24000mg of silk concentrates and ocean complex contained within this cream. I am not sure this is correct, as it means 24grams of silk concentrates within 1 cubic cm?! Anyhow, this is a weird product and slightly scented, I was expecting a cream like the broccoli one. I am unsure I will keep this.

All in all, this is a lovely box! I really do like this and would love to reorder if it ever becomes available for international shoppers again!
The total retail value of the box is $196, and the cost of the box was only $23 plus shipping! Absolute bargain and fabulous box! More please!

Purederm Cucumber Eye Pads @iamcherrylemon

Who likes gimmicky products? I do! Yes this is not a new design, I have seen these when I was younger. Fake pieces of cucumber patches for cooling the eyes. These are enriched with real cucumber extract, vitamin E and can be stored in fridge for extra cooling effects when used. I do prefer this when its cooler.
These pads are not as cooling or nourishing as you might be expecting. I believe the pads can be made thinner or softer, so they will fit closer to the contour of the eyes.
They don’t irritate my eyes or my eye lids. Not bad but not a product I would repurchase. It looks cute thou.

2. Ladykin Vanpir Dark Repairing Water Mask, RRP $46

Ok listen to this, “This sleeping pack is made from “dragon’s blood resin” from the Amazon, adenosine and centella asiatica.” Do you know this is? I don’t.
This sleeping pack definitely works well with my skin. I find it very hydrating and I like to wake up to better skin in the mornings! I cannot confirm the claims regarding evening out skin tone as it was not noticeable for the last two times I’ve used the sleeping mask.

I have swapped this item already, so won’t be able to give you a verdict.

4. Mise en Scene Perfect Repair Treatment Pack 180ml, RRP $16
One of my favourite meme hair products, it works well with my hair and it does not weigh it down. I do believe I have two more as backups. I do use this as hair conditioner and not a weekly treatment. It contains 7 types of oils, including argan, camellia, olive, jojoba, coconut, apricot and marula.
I am really enjoying this hair treatment, my hair is feeling soft and not as knotty.

5. TO BE NANG Snail Nutrition Hydro Gel Mask 51g, RRP $5

To Be Nang Snail Nutrition mask pack @iamcherrylemon

To Be Nang Snail Nutrition mask pack @iamcherrylemon

Hydro gel masks are my new favourite! You must try a hydrogel mask as they fit so much better to the face and deliver so much hydration. This is true even with the cheaper alternative brands.
This mask contains snail mucus extracts for the skin renewing properties.
6. TO BE NANG Gold 24k Snail Nutrition Hydro Gel Mask 51g, RRP $6
In hydro gel mask heaven! This mask is enriched with snail mucus extracts and pure gold extracts for soothing,, renewing and rejuvenating the skin. I am really looking forward to trying this one out. I have seen the same mask on another k-beauty online site for $14? So, is this the only time meme under valuated a product? No idea. But I am not complaining.

7. TO BE NANG Anti-Wrinkle Face & Neck Mask 61g, RRP $3
This is a 2-part mask, one for the face and one for the neck. It also contains snail mucus extracts.

The total retail value of the box is $100, the cost of the box is $23 plus shipping. Pretty darn good value I would say! This box is very good, I like mask edition boxes!

Namely my oldest Memebox ever, unboxing of Memebox Special #35 Moisture Surge

Memebox Special #35 Moisture Surge
I’ve got this box during the first ever restocking event. I can still remember on that Friday I rushed home and ate my dinner. ..Then fingers at the ready, to order whatever Memebox throws at us. That event trained me well for the subsequent restocks. Haha madness I know! I have oily combination skin but it doesn’t mean my skin is naturally moisturised. My skin seems to be at its happiest when there’s moisture in abundance. This box seems to be perfect to give my skin the nourishment it needs.

Oh, one note to add.. this box became available again a week ago. Totally out of the blue, as it is pretty old in the meme-world. So if you are looking forward to receive yours but wonder what’s in it, then read on! 😀

1. insobeau Hairomax Vitamin Stick 10g l, RRP $29
This is a balm stick that can be used on isolated dry patches on the skin. I prefer gel form of moisture treatment. So I doubt I’ll pay the full $29 for the product.

2. Wish Formula Premium Ampoule Mask, RRP $14

Wish Formula Premium Ampoule Mask and imface Vio-Xellose Neck Patch @iamcherrylemon

Wish Formula Premium Ampoule Mask and imface Vio-Xellose Neck Patch @iamcherrylemon

I absolutely adore sheet masks, this mask aims to help address any problem with wrinkles and targets dry patches. But do you think this mask is a little pricey?

3. original raw Deluxe Kit ver 3.0 30ml x 3, RRP $60 (for the full size) I valuate this set to be $30

original raw Deluxe Kit @iamcherrylemon

original raw Deluxe Kit @iamcherrylemon

This kit is fairly popular, especially the Black Bubble cleanser!
The set includes 30ml tubes of the Black Bubble cleanser, Chan-mool Patting Essence and Water Block Black Jam cream. The Bubble cleanser will automatically transform into fine bubbles once it gets in contact with air. You’ll only need a 10 pence sized of product for your entire face. I’m really into bubbling products at the moment!
The patting essence is like thick serum, it gets absorbs into the skin and forms a protective moisture barrier.
This “Jam” can be used as a sleeping pack, the hyaluronic acid helps to retain moisture.

4. ROSEMOON Rich 53% Collagen Smart Balm 50ml, RRP $47

Rosemoon Rich 53% Collagen Smart Balm @iamcherrylemon

Rosemoon Rich 53% Collagen Smart Balm @iamcherrylemon

This cream contains 53% Collagen but it doesn’t clarify which type! This should be used as the last step of the skincare routine.
I’ve used this on alternative nights and I’m enjoying it. But I would have no idea where to get a backup! This is not a brand I can find on the usual k-beauty sites.

5. imface Vio-Xellose Neck Patch 10ml, RRP $5

This is a sheet mask for the neck, it’s formulated with plant and coconut extract. Most people neglect their necks in their skincare routine, yet it is one of the first places that show signs of ageing. I must remember to take better care of mine.

6. Dermahouse Aloe Vera Moisture Mist 120ml, RRP $14
Facial mists are always welcomed. This version contains aloe vera, so it is very soothing. You can add patting water or other ampoules to create a rejuvenating facial mist with plenty of skin benefiting ingredients.

The total retail value of the box is $139, and the cost of the box was $23 plus shipping. Pretty good value and it contains some lovely products!
