26 Great Nail Art Ideas – Autumn

wp-1505341534297.

Happy Friday! Can you believe we are on our 25th of the 26 GNAI posts? It will feel quite strange finishing this annual bi-weekly challenge which took quite a lot of commitment in order to complete! I am still unsure if I want to continue for another 26 or 52! Anyhow, this Friday’s #26GNAI is about Autumn. Very suiting to what is going on right now, the temperature is dropping, the days are getting shorter and everyone just generally looking and feeling sluggish! Maybe, it is only me?

For this manicure, I wanted to make use of the glitter polish that I love! So, it is perfect with some black stamping of leaves. For the shimmer stamping polishes to stand out, I needed to use a solid colour base. So I limited myself on the colour choices.. I actually really liked how this manu turned out. The top coat Seche Vite is known to be thick and glossy, so that’s great for the glitter accents.

Products used:

  • Painted Polish in Midnight mischief and the Ghoul next door (a brilliant orange micro glitter polish, it was part of Halloween 2016)
  • Hit the Bottle stamping polishes in Drop red gorgeous and Copper hair girl
  • Maggie Anne nail polish in Pearl
  • Uber Chic Beauty stamping plate – Autumn 01
  • Seche Vite fast drying top coat

Here’s a macro shot of the glitter polish, I love it! It is so much clearer than what I can see with my own eyes! Ha!

Valentine’s Manicure: Tonic polish in Angelfish stamped using DixieGirl DP03 Lace stamping plate

Valentine's Manicure - Tonic polish in Angelfish and Dixie Girl plate DP03 @iamcherrylemon

Valentine’s Manicure – Tonic polish in Angelfish and Dixie Girl plate DP03 @iamcherrylemon

Morning! I have finally caught up with posts on my valentine’s manis. I could not believe just how behind I was, 4 manis!? tut tut!
Anyhow, this is my final valentine’s mani of the year, I think I have done enough.. I am not a lovey dovey person at all, but I love creating valentine’s mani more than Halloween ones. Maybe I find these alot easier to do :p

This mani is very simple with stamping over 2 accent nails. I have chosen to use my new DP03, it has 3 panels of lace designs and the plate is extremely easy to use. With a sticky stamper, it picks up the crisp images really well.

Products used:

  • Tonic polish in Angelfish
  • DixieGirl stamping plate DP03 Lace
  • Moyra white stamping polish
  • Rhinestones are from Born Pretty
  • Seche Vite fast drying top coat

My lamp is washing out the colours, the polish should be lilac with pink sheen, with lots of holographic glitter and pretty magneta pink flakes. What a beauty!!

Thank you for reading and take care!

Hello and welcome!

Ahhh.. I love this manicure so much! I am using a brand new thermal polish Forever (part of a quarter from PNL) and it is beautiful. This polish contains lovely duochrome flakes and glitter, isn’t it clever?! This thermal transition from rosey purple to pale purple (on me). The pictures I have here are taken in its cold state… because my hands are so cold all the time! Trust me, it does change colours.

I used my Uber Chic Beauty Love & Marriage #3 plate AGAIN, might as well make the most out of it. Although, most of the images are suitable for all year round wear.

Polish My Life “Bronze Beauty” (anniversary edition) photo swatch

Happy Sunday everyone! Today’s post is a quick swatch with tiny weeny bit of stamping! PML is a brand new indie label for me, I’ve heard so much good things about it so I was so excited to try this. I’m not disappointed! The formula is fabulous, dries quick, evens it extremely well and looks stunning.

Nine Zero lacquer – polish of the month “April 2016” photo swatches

Happy Saturday!

Nine Zero lacquer - polish of the month

Nine Zero lacquer – polish of the month “April 2016” photo swatch

This potm is a cool pink straight linear holographic polish, it has a bronzy glow even in dull lights. Such a beauty and you can’t go wrong with a pink polish 😉
Today, I had cashier ladies noticing and liking what they see… Pink rainbows on my nails 😀

Here are some macro shots to show off the lovely holo glitter.

I’ve purchased this polish and plate from Rainbow connection UK.

On my Cindy hand, I’ve used some Born Pretty water decals. It has a transparent background, so the pink holo still shine through. The whole mani doesn’t look plain nor overdressed.

10 Sheets/Set Flower Owl Nail Art Water Decals Set Transfer Sticker BORN PRETTY W01-W10

To use water decals, you cut out the decals and dunk it into some water for 30 seconds or so. Then gently push the decal part off. If it doesn’t budge then return it to the water for few seconds. It should loosen itself.

Next, you stick the decal onto your base colour before sealing it with a top coat.
This set of water decals cost $5, pretty good value!

That’s it!

Thank you and happy weekend!

Ps. I have rejoined smooshy nails Sunday again PLUS I’ve made my first tutorials ever 😉
I admire those ladies who film tutorials day in day out. The amount of preparation is unbelievable. Hence, you’ll see that I’m searching and scramble for tools or polishes all the time. Just be kind to me, pretty please?
I’ll be sharing the YouTube links after posting turn on my instagram account @iamcherrylemon

Cool.

What a long end note!

Another quick swatch post today, showing you this lovely thermal nail polish called Euna. The collection consists of 22 Duo chrome polishes, they are all beautiful and have the most suiting names.
Euna is a thermal polish that is a warm pale pink with bronze shimmer in warm state. It transits into a olive toned bronze while in cold state.

Seriously. …. who would have thought to pair pink with bronze? They look so good together!

Hello there!
It’s Friday night… I am missing #smooshynailsunday this week and I am already having withdrawn symptoms! Slightly busy recently so I couldn’t re-do my nails in time. Boohoo!
This week, I am jumping onto the magnetic polish bandwagon! While everyone else is now on the mirror/holo chrome powder trend! I am always behind with the nail trends.. although it is not my cup of tea, you should check the chrome nail trend out!

I am using one of my untrieds from the stash! This is Masura magnetic polish “Sapphire of Heaven”, what a wonderful name for this beauty!
To be honest, it did take me awhile to work out how best to use this magnetic polish. It is not as easy as the high street magnetic polishes where you just apply, then hover the magnet over the wet nails! This Masura one requires a little bit of patience and strategy!
For the stamping, I have chosen the Sloteazzy stamping plate… an untried plate from the stash too! Gosh I am being good ;P The heart pattern is said to be tricky in the real watermarble world. I am glad this plate sorts it out for me! Since the hearts are running vertically down the nail. I made sure my magnetic polish is reflected in the same way. This way, the pattern can help show off the cat eyes effect of the magnetic polish.

For this manicure: I’ve used:
  • Bundle Monster Blogger Collaboration Stamping Plates – BM-XL210, Sloteazzy
  • Masura Precious Stones “Sapphire of Heaven”
  • Born Pretty stamping polish in black
  • Seche Vite fast drying top coat
I hope you like the mani and the close-ups! Do you like the reflective properties of the polish?
I purchased the Masura polish and the Sloteazzy plate from Rainbow-Connection.co.uk (not affiliated links). Please note this polish shade is currently out of stock.
Thank you and have a great weekend 🙂

Morning! Hope you’re well!

Today I’m reviewing the Born Pretty Chameleon Nail Polish #201, as well as showing you my shop sparkly spider Web manicure 🙂

Chameleon Nail polish #201

Born Pretty Chameleon Nail Polish #201 [colour changing] (photo swatch) @iamcherrylemon

Born Pretty Chameleon Nail Polish #201 [colour changing] (photo swatch) @iamcherrylemon

This is a multi chrome polish which shifts from bronze to purple to blue to green. It looks best in indirect sunlight and it changes tones depending on the light source. I love the colour under evening sunlight, this polish appears bronze!
To use: must apply a black or dark nail colour as base. Then apply 2 to 3 coats of this polish plus a top coat.
The formula of this polish is smooth but thin. Hence you’ll need at least 2 coats before it will show up well.

I’ve applied 2 coats on all my swatches shown on this post.

This polish is currently priced at $6.99 for 6ml ( Born Pretty online store). You can use my 10% discount code FTL91 at checkout.

Since the polish looks kinda mysterious and spooky. I’ve chosen to stamp it with a spider web pattern using holo stamping polishes. It seems to suits it pretty well!

Hi there! This is “Fire to the Rain” by CbL for their summer 2016 collection. It is a beautiful crelly packed with shimmer. It is like wearing rubies on my nails! The pictures here cannot do the polish justice, it is so much nicer if seen in person.
All swatches are done with 2 coats with a layer of fast drying top coat.

For the stamping, I’ve chosen to use Moyou London Explorer 09 for the beautiful patterns. They look authentic in this antique looking gold stamping polish! It is Moyou London stamping polish in Jungle gold.

The 2 green rhinestones really set off the whole design and eye catching. I like this being much 🙂

What do you think of the red base colour?

Thank you!
