Hello and sorry that this post is so late! almost a week has passed since 31st!
I’ve finally completed all the prompts for the nail art challenge. I’m pretty proud to actually done all 9 manis. But I must admit, it was pretty intense to squeeze in other nail art challenges too.
Here are the YouTube tutorials:
Pumpkin – The base is a wonderful polish by Painted polish, called Jack-o lantern! The pumpkins are freehand decals.
Skulls – Not strictly Halloween kind of scary skulls. I’ve used models own chrome polishes for the gradient base, then stamped with bundle monster plate. It is a lovely plate to work with. Clear and crisp images every time!
I’ve added a matte top coat for the final look.
Bats – I’ve used my new Wikkid polishes for this mani. I absolutely adore the stamping polish “Tikka Masala”. Not just for the funky name but the polish itself works really well! The base is a colour shifting polish by Wikkid, called “Pallene”. I’ve not used a black base in order to achieve this see through, colour shifting look.
I couldn’t find the recorded clips for the Witches manicure. So that one is missing at the moment.
Bones/sugar skulls – I’ve created the manicures using the meebox October edition. This time I’ve created freehand decals to add to the smooshy base. I love smooshing, or is a great way to incorporate different polish shades.
Halloween mani … the finale!
For November, I probably won’t be posting as many manis as my maternity leave is coming to an end. I still don’t know how I will cope juggling work and baby at the moment. It will probably hit me like a brick wall! Anyhow! Happy November and enjoy the cosy nights.
Thank you and have a lovely week!
