Hello and how are you today 🙂
[picture heavy post]
I’ve heard a lot about Danglefoot nail polishes amongst few FB Nail groups. I’ve noticed there were many mentions on this nail polish duo “Hook and Swan”. So it felt right to get these as introduction to the brand!
These are not the usual colours I would go for but I just can’t believe how surprisingly pretty these are!
This is a deep wine red polish with holo effect and flakies. It looks like a different polish under different lightings.
At times you can see the elusive flakies; the holo shines through gently in sunlight and direct indoor lights and I love how elegant and classy this red looks on its own without any special lighting.
I can’t stop looking at my nails for days!
The formula is good and easy to apply. All swatches were 2 coats with top coat.
Then to refresh the manicure, I’ve stamped it with EdM holo silver stamping polish using Uber Chic plate 8-03.
A bit Celtic feel to the chosen pattern and it transformed this manicure. Awesome! This polish is going straight to my “keep” pile!
This is definitely not my usual colour choice. To me, it looks like an Ocean blue with holo and a bits of shimmer flakies. The holo really comes alive in direct lights.
Stamped with Uber Chic plate 1-02, a cheap light gold stamping polish and Color Club harp on it. The Color Club only shows well in direct light and it appears as sparkling shadows of the gold vines. I really like this effect.
Hmm does this look like wallpaper or wrapping paper to you?
These two polishes are just so unexpectedly beautiful, I think I’ll become a Danglefoot fan!
