Morning everyone. How are you doing? Today, I’m reviewing the Etude House Drawing Eye Brow definers in two shades.

The product
This is the automatic / retractable type Eyebrow Definer with hard wax crayon. It comes in six different shades; #1 Black Brown, #2 Gray Brown, #3 Brown, #4 Charcoal Gray, #5 Gray and #6 Black.

The wax crayon nib is shaped like a triangle and slightly slanted. This has been designed to make the application easy and effortless.

It has a spoolie at the other end, this is extremely helpful for tidying and grooming. I’ve only got my Burberry Eyebrow Definer that has the exact same design as this Etude House version. The Etude House spoolie is not tapered but I’m not complaining at all.
The caps shut securely and I don’t have to worry breaking the nib in my makeup bag.

The wax crayon is refillable. But I haven’t come across any refills online yet.

The hard wax is horrible to swatch on hand but it applies extremely well onto the brows. You can go for a natural brow look, or intensify the look by building up the coverage.

Out of the two shades, I do prefer the shade #2 Gray Brown. It’s warmer and more suitable for my complexion 😀 but both are great.

Ease of use: Great for beginners and everyone!
Pigmentation: Light but build-able, easy to control
Longevity: Very good! 10 hours+ and no touch up required. I’m most impressed.

Price: currently under $4 at Beauty Net Korea (Not affiliated)
Score: 5! A good dupe for the Burberry Effortless Eyebrow Definer at a fraction of the price. A definite repurchase for me!

Thanks for reading! Hope you had a great weekend!

  1. Charlotte's Web says:

Those look really good! I was thinking of trying something new when I finish my Benefit Browzings, as I’ve been using that for donkeys years and a bit stuck in a rut, and it would be good to try some affordable alternatives. x
