Hello there! How did you celebrate NY? I did nothing and went nowhere 😛 But it didn’t stop me from creating this glitzy and sparkly manicure!

For today’s “Diamonds and gold” manicure, I’ve used Burberry Limited Edition nail polish in no.107 Light Gold. I’m not too impressed with this one. I guess being metallic it will always be streaky in a way or two. You can easily dupe this with Barry M Foil effects in Gold.

This Burberry version requires 2 coats to look good. The finish is satin matte and looks best under a shiny topcoat (such defeats the idea of being a satin matte).
FUN Lacquer in 24k Diamond is a gorgeous holographic glitter polish. It is jam packed with the small holo glitter pieces. You can use Essie Carnival instead but it doesn’t give the same Oomph as this FUN Lacquer polish. I love this!! Who doesn’t like sparkly stuff 😛

Dupe:
This is a photo of Barry M Foil Nail effect is Gold comparing with Burberry Light Gold. Barry M’s version is a little bit yellower.

Gold nails dipped in diamond pieces 😉 ah, this is my day 4 for the #NailartJan challenge with @californails on Instagram.
Thanks for reading and Happy New year!
