Hi! So what is this massive egg doing here?
It is not a chicken or duck egg, nor an ostrich egg. This plastic egg container made by Tonymoly contains Blackhead remover balm! What a lovely touch, the egg container looks cute but it may have fooled you to think it contains more product than 30ml!
Basically the balm sits in the wider part of the egg and I’m not sure what’s in the huge lid!
The balm is thick, and colour is like mucky water! It does have mini sparkling beads and some egg yolk looking bits. The balm also smells of citrus, a refreshing dish washing liquid smell. I must admit I really like this. Weird.
This is a self-heating, blackhead removing balm that is 5 free. It took me awhile to find out which 5 Free!
5 Free system: no parabens, mineral oil, tar dye, benzophenone and triethanolamine
Apply a pea sized amount onto a cleansed nose (adjust amount for treating other parts of body area). Massage the balm into the blackhead affected area. It will heat up very slightly and definitely will not burn. But I guess each batch is different so test before use.
Well I think the concept is good, where the heated elements would open up your pores and removes the dead skin cells and blackheads.
Does it live up to its claims? It looks like to worked a little but I cannot tell you if it totally remove all blackheads and sebum.
My results are definitely not as dramatic as advertised. This is part of my k-beauty haul.
Therfore I still prefer to use nose strips!
Thank you for reading! Hope you all are having a great day.
