Hiya, today I would like to share my review on 2 Kiko eyeshadow sticks with you.
I’ve picked these up awhile ago and have been testing them solidly for the last two weeks. Before that, I had been addicted to Bobbi Brown Creamy shadow stick in Bronze for a very long time. Actually, almost a year now as it was a limited edition from last holiday season.
I would normally grab a cream shadow stick when I’m in a hurry. It plays the important role along with my liquid liner. Cream shadow sticks are great, as you can get away with just using 1 colour on your eyes and still look like you’ve spent considerable amount of time on them!
Kiko’s versions are very comparable to Bobbi Brown’s, in terms of longevity and pigmentation. Bobbi Brown’s version cost around £20 each!
Kiko long lasting shadow sticks are in matte black packaging, very sleek and the lid closes securely. This is of auto type, which means you don’t need to shapen these with a sharpener.
I find that when I use Kiko’s I will have to blend the shadow out quickly. As it doesn’t take long to set and last you all day. I’ve tried then with and without primer, personally I do not think you need a primer. But if your eyelids are slightly oilier than you might need to consider using a primer. These shadow sticks are very easy to use.
05 Rosy Brown
This is true to its name, a very nice rosy taupe brown and it apples very smoothly and nicely.
06 Golden Brown
This is a gorgeous taupe brown, and as you can see in the photo swatch. It does look very close to Bobbi Brown’s shadow stick in Bronze.
