Hiya, having re-read the title of this post.. it sounded like some sort of herbal teas I am reviewing!
Anyhow! Today I will be reviewing couple of Innisfree facial sheet masks. Innisfree offers a vast range of different sheet masks all created with 100% natural ingredients. I have reviewed their Super Volcanic pore clay masks few weeks ago. I am addicted to the stuff.
While your skin might need purifying or decongesting, sometimes it might need more intense moisturising and nourishing. At slightly busy times, I would use sheet masks and at all other times, I might put on a sleeping mask.
Green tea is very popular in food/drinks, it is packed with anti-oxidants.
Imagine Green Tea Ice cream, green tea sponge cakes and we even have Green tea Kit-kat!
Green tea is a superfood, with great health benefits and fabulous in skincare.
Back to the review!
Official description: Real source Mask with fresh moisture squeezed from green tea that moisturises the skin to deep inside.
This mask smells very faintly of green tea, it is soaked in clear green tea essence (and all other ingredients such as glycerin, alcohol, grapefruit extracts). The mask itself is very comfortable to wear and it fits very well. I believe the cutting of the mask is very important and this Innisfree mask is really well cut! I felt that it kinda hugs my face! The material is thin, soft but strong, so you won’t tear it apart accidentally. To use, you apply this mask on cleansed face and relax for 10 to 20 mins. You can wipe off excess essence with a clean cotton pad or massage it into your skin. I obviously left the excess essence on my face, I don’t mind as it gets absorbed quite quickly.
Afterwards, my skin feels moisturised and supple. The effects still look good on the day after.
I would recommend this mask for frequent use on normal, oily/combination skin. It might not be moisturising enough if your skin is ultra-dry. Then you might want to try the next mask!
Official description: Real source mask with moisture from squeezed blackberries that at full of nourishment to keep the skin healthy.
This mask smells like sweet berries, it contains creamy white essence and its a little bit thicker in consistency than the green tea version.
Again, this mask fits very well and the creamy essence feels very nourishing to the skin.
I would recommend this mask to people with normal to slightly dryer skin. Or if you’re oily to oily combination, you can still use this but you might not need to use it every day.
- Feels gentle and moisturising
- Very well cut masks
- Both versions of mask are moisturising (Blackberries one is more nourishing)
- Only readily available in Asia and maybe in some US based Korean skin care specialist stores.
Overall Score: 4 out of 5. I really enjoyed using these and would repurchase when I run out on them.
Innisfree.com (Offical Site) is having a sale on these masks, buy 10 and get 10 free! They are around £0.67p each!
TesterKorea (Korean Online Store) is currently holding a sale, each of these Innisfree mask is selling for around $0.60 / £0.48p ! Totally bargain! Shipping is around £10 for 1.5kg, so best to get a collective order to make it worthwhile 🙂
