Hello everyone!

Today’s NOTD is Barry M’s famous Gelly nail paint in Prickly Pear 🙂 I’ve been wanting to try this for a while having tried all the bright Gellys already! Prickly Pear is a lovely lilac cream, same as all other Gellys. It is ultra shiny and opaque with 2 coats.

I’ve added a cute kitten decal which my sis-in-law bought for me from Asia (she knows I love my cats!!). I’ve also added couple of clear sparkling heart rhinestones to the other accent nail. The decals and rhinestones took less than few mins to assemble!

Decals are easy!

  1. Cut out the decal from the sheet
  2. Add few drops of water, making sure the piece of decal has come into contact with water
  3. Carefully move the decal off the paper backing and place it onto your chosen nail
  4. Once it has dried off, apply top coat! It should last you at least few days 🙂

Very simple and toned down manicure after my last few neon/fuchsia/glittery manis! !

Decals maybe “yester-year” for some trendy and savvy manicurists, but it is a great way to get into nail art. Decals are easy to use, so it’s perfect for beginners 🙂 I have been painting my nails for years but I am still new to decals and all sorts of nail art! Nail art is such fun, creativity can be helpful at times. But when you are not-so-inspired but want more than a plain mani, decal saves the day! ehhehe

Thanks for reading, catch you again soon 🙂
