Hiya all, how have you been this week. It’s the weekend.. finally. What a long week it has been :I Anyhow, today I am sharing my views on another skincare product. It is the Gatineau Activ Eclat Radiance Enhancing Gommage… it is an enzyme exfoliator.
Enzyme exfoliators are often recommended for sensitive skin users, as the exfoliators are not abrasive and majority of the enzymes are extracted from fruits. Enzyme exfoliators are gentler than scrubby, grainy exfoliators. It works by melting the dead skin layer on you, this would help to reveal a clearer complexion.
Gatineau Activ Eclat Radiance Enhancing Gommage is not a cheap skincare product, it costs around £30 for 50ml. I have got mine awhile ago as part of QVC’s TSV :p I use this occasionally when I need to really brighten my complexion. I secretly trying to make it last as long as it possibly can. ..
The gommage is a pearly, golden liquid sand kinda gel. It looks lovely and it has a sweet citrus smell to it, which makes it even more pleasant to use.
Instructions on how to use:
- Use on dry clean skin only
- Apply 2 peas sized of the gommage and spread all over your face
- Massage in circular motion, there will be slight resistance as gommage is gel like and does not flow like a cream on your face
- The gommage will turn into liquid, then you wait for 1 to 2 mins before rinsing it off with clean water
- Pat dry and follow by your normal skincare routine
My take on the product
I really do like this exfoliator as it feels gentler, and after using this; my skin is definitely brighter, clearer and feels clean without the tight pull feeling. Although enzyme exfoliator are gentler, it does not mean it will suit everyone.. so always do a patch test on skin first.
Price: £30 for 75ml from QVC, feelunique, Amazon
Overall Score: 4 out of 5, I am satisified with this product for its effectiveness but I am slightly reluctant in paying full price at £30! I need another TSV 😛 hehehe
Thank you for reading! Have a great weekend 🙂
