Hello everyone 😀
I did some Google image searches over the weekend and fell in love with Jelly sandwich manicures! Apparently, it’s like Marmite, you either love it or hate it! I luv it 🙂
Jelly sandwich manicures are about layering different types of polishes, such as glitter under a coat of jelly polish (see through demi-opaque varnish).
There are so many different ways you can build up a jelly sandwich, you are only limited to your imagination! So let your creativity juices flow! (Else if you don’t have time then Google image search “jelly sandwich manicure”, guaranteed to inspire you!
Today I’ve completed my mani in a moving car! Feels like an accomplishment wahahaha, but what I REALLY meant is, please excuse the untidy finishes sowwie!
This manicure was completed using 2 layers of pale pearl yellow (Revlon nail art Kiss & Tell), Hits Speciallita in Roma and Cancun, my jelly is Barry M Limited Edition pink. Finished with a coat of Seche Vite. Me bad, I didn’t use base coat today.
This was surprisingly easy to do! And it’s quite nice to see glitter polishes get used differently.
Hits Speciallit “Roma” is a fun and funky glitter polish consists of blue, white and purple hexagons plus gold and fuchsia pink glitter pieces.
Cancun (used on index fingers only) is warm spicy looking glitter with pink and purple glitter pieces.
Next jelly sandwich manicure ideas:
- Metallic blue base, starry glitter and a blue jelly
- White base, confetti and pink jelly
I think I need to get more coloured jelly polishes.
Thank you so much for reading, hope you enjoy this simple but cute manicure 🙂
