Revlon Color Burst lipgloss in Adorned, Quick comparison with Burberry Lip glow in Pink Sweet Pea Swatch photo
I was browsing through aisles of Boots. As you would on any rainy afternoon. I came across this new fall collection from Revlon. This particular lipgloss really caught my eyes. Can you see why? ? Ultra bright neon fuchsia pink with blue micro shimmer. It immediately reminded me of my Burberry lipgloss in Pink Sweet Pea from their 2013 summer collection.
Here I have a swatch of each to show you.
Let’s do a quick comparison between the two!
Revlon colour burst lip gloss is extremely pigmented, glossy, non-sticky and it has this slightly sweet smell of vanilla (I think)!
Wear: 3 to 4 hours on me
Price: £7.99 (Boots currently have 2 for £10 on all Revlon nails/mascara/lip products) I consider this as bargain since my mascara is £9.99 on its own
Availability: Boots, Superdrug
Summary: good lipgloss with fantastic colour payoff
Burberry lip glow is slightly sheerer than Revlon’s version; it is also non-sticky with the trademark scent of antique rose.
Pink sweet pea is very comfortable to wear and probably easier to pull off.
Wear: 3 hours on me
Availability: Burberry online and in store
Summary: Very moisturising, good sheer colour. The micro shimmer in this one is less noticeable than the Revlon’s.
I think it really depends what you are looking for, a bright highly pigmented fuchsia pink colour or a sheer fuchsia pink? 🙂
What do you think?? 🙂
