I always find myself eyeing up the moon candy polishes. They look really lovely on display in Superdrug!
So I was super excited when I got my Meteor moon candy from a clothes swap party with my friends! I love clothes swap and I highly recommend you/your friends to host one! Clothes swap is not only restricted to clothes only.  Everyone get to try some new products and share some love! Skin care or makeup products that don’t suit you might be a godsend for one of your mates! My friend hosted clothes swap at her house and everyone brought along their items and food! Cakes, make up, chit-chat and laughs all in an afternoon 🙂 what’s not to love? Virtually nothing goes to waste, unloved items will all goto the charity shops!

Haahaha back to my review…
Meteor is a duo colour of dark moss green in creme and a glitter colour with bright iridescent green glitter flakes.

The creme colour is slightly streaky on application and needed 2 coats to achieve a lovely opaque finish. The glitter polish is nice and the brush does pick up a decent amount of glitter flakes.

Here shown with 2 coats of creme and 1 coat of glitter flakes.. No top coat! The flakes really do create dimensions but this mani does look its best when worn with a top coat. Hint and I shall do that next time!

It looks surprisingly good and I am really liking this combo!

Price: £7.99 from Superdrug / boots online and in store, 2 for £10 offer now on for both stores
Ease of use: easy to use and you can create different looks pretty easily! (I’ve tried putting glitter flakes only on nail tips and also play on accent nails with glitter flakes).

Do you like the idea of clothes swap?
Have you tried other moon candies or other Revlon nail art items? They are so gorgeous!
