Sleek Makeup i-Divine Eyeshadow Snapshots Palette – Review & Swatches

Sleek Makeup i-Divine Eyeshadow Snapshots Palette – Review & Swatches
Ahhh Sleeeeek! I’m used to be a shimmer-shimmer kinda girl, but lately I am adding some mattes into my collection. A matte look with a pop of shimmer looks very very lovely :o)

I watched a tutorial on YouTube on a brights (purple & pinks) look by makeupbyleinabaaaby. I made a mental note to get myself some bright mattes! 😀
SO, one day I was browsing in Superdrug as I was a little too early for meeting up with my girl friends for dinner. That was the day, when Superdrug had its first day launch for another Sleek  i-Divine Lagoon palette (Aqua Limited Edition). I was very drawn to this gorgeous collection and this Snapshots palette.
This Snapshots palette contains 12 eye shadows, comes in Sleek’s signature black packaging, double ended sponge tip applicator and a big mirror! This palette has some brights, some mattes and a bunch of lovely shimmery shadows. Sleek’s shimmer shadows are always very good.

Bottom Row Colour Description:

Sand Walker: Neutral browny beige, pigmentation is poor (I can’t even make it appear in photos!) (Matte)

My take on the product 😀
Great starter palette for someone who are starting to experiment with non-neutral colours, aka brights! Lots of different option, but you do need a base shadow all over the lid for optimal blending on lids. I do recommend using eye shadow primer with this palette to further enhance the colour vibrancy.
Packaging: Very sleek! Slim & compact black packaging
Price: £7.99 very affordable! Currently on 3 for 2 offer at Superdrug stores and online
Quality: Good, pigments: some colours do feel chalky but most are pretty good. I would prefer this over Bourjois, which is very overpriced
Ease of use: Use a good eye shadow primer ensures true colour application (such as Urban Decay eye shadow potion or Too Face eye shadow insurance)
Wear: very good, 6 to 7 hours with eye shadow primer, no creasing
Availability: Superdrug (UK), international stockists are popping up slowly. I think you can find Sleek on Amazon and eBay from smaller sellers.
Overall: 3.5/5
